Join Staff

If you are interested in being a long term staff member at YWAM Burtigny, you will need to come and be a part of our community for a minimum of three months, either as a student in one of our schools or as a short term staff person. This will give you the opportunity to see if YWAM Burtigny really is the place God is calling you to and in what area you would want to work. At the same time, this gives us the opportunity to evaluate if this would be a good fit for you and for us and where it would be optimal to have you serve. Another reason we require an initial period of involvement is because the Swiss Government has a detailed visa application process and we want to be sure that when we apply for a three year visa, that both parties are committed to that duration of engagement. We therefore ask for a minimum of a three year commitment to being on staff with us.

Here are a list of some areas here that you can be involved in: Staff: website design, PR, videographers, photographers, network administrators etc. Kitchen Staff: Cooks, kitchen assistants. Finances: Accountants. DTS School Staff: English and French speakers. Maintenance: Electricians, builders, carpenters etc. Hospitality: Looking after guest speakers and visitors on base.
