Design internship
Are you a photographer, web or print designer or videographer? Interested in the Design schools but are looking to implement your new skills? Are you willing to work in a design studio serving ministries locally, nationally or internationally? Are you wanting to learn more to gain depth in your experience of graphic design?
We want to offer you the chance to intern in a vibrant and challenging design studio based in our Communications and Mobilization Department. We have more work than we can handle and are always looking to have communicators, video editors, webmasters and other skilled people to help us to serve ministries who do not have their own communications department. Your work can make an incredible difference to a pioneering ministry or a church in need of a new corporate identity.

We are looking for a full-time webmaster to oversee the development of the campus website, to implement new features and administrate the site… we have a lot in development that needs dedicated and passionate people to make it a reality. We want to move our multimedia online – podcasting, hearing the vision of Burtigny and YWAM across the net. If you are interested in serving as a web designer, flash animator, administrator or just want to learn more about being a web designer, please contact us.
Do you take excellent photography or want to learn how to do so…. we need your skills and abilities! If you want to shoot video packages here in Switzerland, in Geneva or internationally please get in touch. We need more video and photography projects where we can highlight ministries using Media in Missions, or address certain issues world-wide. We may even do a video podcast that we could shoot right here in Switzerland and make available to the world. The possibilities are endless… please pray about getting involved!
We need designers for our newsletters/campus PR worldwide. Offering our skills to organisations in Switzerland and abroad so that we can shine a spotlight on the events, seminars or training that is available and get the word out. Do you want to work on magazine formats and broaden our involvement and publicity at conferences or our mobilization events? We have plenty of opportunities for you to serve!.
If you are thinking of attending the School of Design or School of Digital Communications, then you will get a lot of very good training, as well as heaps of experience working on projects during the school. However, you may feel that you need some more experience or training in a certain area. If this is the case, then the Design Internship is exactly what you need. You can do it here in the Design Studio in Burtigny or your intern leader can set it up anywhere in the world that you would like to intern. You can focus on the area you are interested in and specialize. So you may want to work primarily in Print, or in Web or Motion Graphics. Whatever your preference, please let us know and we can help you get further exposure to the design process and the challenging and fulfilling work of Design!
