The Water Technology Seminar teaches students simple
techniques to bring water supplies to communities around the world.
It is an intense two weeks, hands-on learning experience.
You will learn the building of water catchment systems, above and below ground storage tanks,
bio sand filters, and hydraulic and hand operated pumps, as well as water testing and traditional water treatment methods.
A person can live weeks without food, but only days without water.
1 in 6 people don’t have access to safe freshwater.
